ABOUT DANIEL EBADY
Daniel Ebady is a litigation and trusted legal advisor known for representing businesses, lenders and professionals in complex disputes and high-stakes commercial matters. Daniel focuses on resolving sophisticated legal conflicts through strategic litigation, negotiation and enforcement proceedings.
Daniel’s practice centers on commercial litigation, trial advocacy and enforcement, with a particular emphasis on complex disputes involving business relationships, financial transactions and real estate matters. He regularly represents clients in matters involving shareholder conflicts, fraud and asset recovery, creditor remedies, mortgage enforcement and high-value contractual disputes.
Daniel has experience advising providing guidance on complex commercial relationships that arise in regulated or institutional environments. This background provides him with a practical understanding of how large organizations structure transactions, allocate risk and manage disputes.
Daniel is often retained on highly specialized and time-sensitive mandates, particularly where disputes involve sophisticated parties, significant financial exposure, or urgent enforcement needs. His work frequently involves negotiating and litigating matters on behalf of—or against—large institutions, including financial institutions, insurers, and other sophisticated commercial counterparties.
Through his trial practice and enforcement work, Daniel assists clients in protecting assets, recovering funds, and resolving disputes efficiently. His approach combines strong courtroom advocacy with pragmatic negotiation, ensuring that clients receive clear, strategic guidance throughout the litigation process.
Before entering the legal profession, Daniel studied business at the Ted Rogers School of Management and worked in the financial sector, experience that continues to inform his commercial approach to litigation. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa and was called to the Ontario Bar.
